The dissolved oxygen electrode developed by our company applies polarographic principle, adopts high performance oxygen permeable film, has short response time, accurate measurement, stable performance and convenient maintenance. Please pay attention to the following points when maintaining oxygen electrode.
(1) The electrodes shall be clean regularly. When disassemblin the electrodes, the oxygen permeable film shall not be broken, and the oxygen permeable film on the electrodes shall not be wiped with filter paper so as to avoid damaging the oxygen permeable film.(2) Cable connectors must be kept clean and free from moisture or water.
(3) The display value of the instrument is very different from the actual value or the oxygen content is too low to be determined. If the electrolyte in the oxygen electrode dries up, the electrolyte shall be re-poured into the electrolyte. Generally, the maintenance work of replacing or adding electrolyte shall be carried out once every six months. When the osmotic membrane breaks, the spare membrane head shall be replaced. The electrodes should be polarized and calibrated again after each replacement or addition of electrolyte or replacement of spare membrane head. Specific steps are as follows: Put the electrode, unscrew the black part of the electrode shield at the bottom of the electrode, remove the diaphragm, pour the old liquid into the cavity, pour the original electrolyte, do not be too full, let the excess electrolyte drain. Tighten and ensure that the membrane can be close to the head of the electrode core can be. After changing the electrolyte, the polarization and calibration should be carried out again.
(4) Polarization of electrodes: after the electrodes are connected to the instrument and the electricity is continuously connected for more tha5 hours, it is polarization, and the electrodes can be demarcated only after polarization.
(5) When the water is cut off for a long time or the instrument is not used for a long time, the electrode shall be ta and the
protective cap shall be cleaned.
(6) If the electrode fails, the electrode shall be replaced.
